What is Mignonac reaction?

The Mignonac reaction is a process used to create amines through the catalytic hydrogenation of aldehydes or ketones.

This reaction takes place in the presence of a nickel catalyst and uses liquid ammonia NH3 and absolute ethanol EtOH as solvents.
