Pechmann pyrazole synthesis

What is Pechmann pyrazole synthesis?

The Pechmann pyrazole synthesis involves the conversion of acetylenes and diazomethane into pyrazoles. Similarly, the reaction of diazoacetic esters with the triple bond results in the formation of pyrazolecarboxylic acid derivatives.
