Pellizzari reaction

What is Pellizzari reaction?

The Pellizzari reaction involves the condensation of amides and acyl hydrazines to form substituted 1,2,4-triazoles. If the amide and acylhydrazine have different acyl groups, there is a possibility of acyl group interchange leading to the formation of a mixture of triazoles.
