I was born in Cordoba in 1967. I spent my graduate and postgraduate years at the Universidad de Granada, where I received my PhD. in Chemistry in 1994. My doctoral dissertation entitled "ab initio MO calculations on -O-O- systems. Intermolecular interactions of hydrogen bonding on H2O2···XH (X=OOH, OH, F, Cl) complexes", and it was performed under the supervision of Prof. José Molina Molina.
