What is Stollé-Becker synthesis?
The Stollé-Becker synthesis is a chemical process for creating 3-phenyl-4-cinnolinecarboxylic acid (IVa). This is achieved by treating N-benzylideneaminoisatin (IIIa) with an aqueous base.
